History of Tylok
In the mid-1940s, Cullen Crawford developed and patented the original flare-less fitting (nut & double ferrule system), making it easier and more efficient to make tubing connections. Based on this innovation, he founded the Crawford Fitting Company, creating an industry for compression fittings. Now, Tylok has been manufacturing its products in the USA for 69 years. We are continuing to innovate and provide quality-driven products to our customers.

Injection lances
Description
Tylok is now offering customized stainless steel AOD injection lance assemblies for refractory tube applications found in most steel mills.
AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburization) is used during the refining process to produce steel with low carbon properties and low silicon levels, while creating a metal more weldable and more corrosion and heat resistant. It brings the tightest chemistry control to deliver the highest levels of metal purity. Most injection lances are replaced daily and in fact considered disposable items in most mills.
Tylok is now offering customized burner tubes suitable for most steel mills. The injection lances are available in ¼", 3/8" and ½" diameters and offered in a variety of custom lengths.
